During the adaptive phase, a 2-parameter logistic model uses authored item difficulty and discrimination values to guide question selection.
Adaptive intelligence
Fisher-information-based selection chooses useful multiple-choice items around the running proficiency estimate. The final reported score is calculated separately from response performance.
